Wat? Going for it on 4th down in our own territory, not kicking the FG. His coaching directly led to the loss. dont like hearing it? tough shite. He made some absolutely bone head calls.

Congrats on your energy tho

You’re an idiot dude. Sure I’ll agree and say hindsight is 20/20 but he was being aggressive, that’s what you do as interim. Put your sack on the table because you have nothing to lose.

But does the team respond the way they did in the 2nd half if he plays it safe in those situations?

Hard to say. Going for 2 down 24-12 was clearly a mistake, but other than that I thought he put us in position to win, despite it looking like a blowout in the early going.

He’s not gonna get the fulltime gig, and we’re not going bowling, so I don’t have a problem with him coaching with nothing to lose.

youre a hypocrite. Ask yourself, if harsin made the same fricking calls all yall motherfrickers would be losing your shite about how terrible of a coach he was. Period.

it wasnt even hindsight. It was fricking dumb when he did it

not making the right calls is not putting your sack on the table. its taking unnecessary risks that put your team in jeopardy

Harsin was a full time head coach. Caddy is an interim.

This whole night is the reason I've said I'm behind Caddy until he gives me a reason not to be. The team hasn't played like that since bama last year, which I'm still sure the refs missed several intentional grounding calls from Bryce for. Before then it's hard to say the last time.

Well
What coach is going to have that effect on those kids better than Caddy, we would be hard pressed to find that. The man stayed up to 2 game planning this with his assistant and coordinators several nights this week and then ran on very little sleep after that. There is no way Harsin gets even half that production from those guys, none.

Lane isn't the guy that will, Freeze isn't the guy, Prime might be the guy, but he'll have to earn that respect. This is an intangible that will be hard to reproduce. The fans are excited for aTm and they weren't before this week.

No doubt about it. I was in Davis-Wade tonight and the difference was remarkable.

Not into moral victories, but excited about the fight. Proud of the coaches, fans and players. Yes, Carnell could have made some different decisions. Two fourth down calls and going for 2, but the team responded to LAC. But I loved that he praised the players and blamed himself.

As Coach Dye said : There’s gonna be a lot of days when you go out there and lay your guts on the line and you come away empty-handed. Ain’t a damn thing you can do about it but go out there and lay ’em on the line again and again.”

Let’s bring it on Saturday.

He took some chances. That was a blowout ready to happen and they made adjustments. Coaches are not going to be 100 every game. He lifted that team through the second half and came up short. Did a good job with a week to prepare as HC.

Meh. It was fun and emotional but I wont say Caddie did a great coaching job other than getting the team and fans fired up. I wanted them to win badly for him and for themselves but he made some big mistakes that could have cost the team the game.

Lets all hope that he can win at home against TAM and all those 5 stars.

Was fun. Till it wasnt

Nope wasn’t great. Did a good job with less than a week and all the chaos after a firing. Don’t get why that’s such a difficult thing to grasp.

Team was headed for a blowout loss and he got the team and coaches to buy into turning it around the second half. He did a good job, not great.
