Does going from superior porterhouse to salisury steak usually yield much satisfaction?
If not why make stupid changes just for the sake of changing?
You can call me a liberal all you want you dont know what the frick you are demanding.

I'm not demanding anything, I've chuckled all off season at the people who think Hank Brown is the next coming. I'm under no delusion we have a major QB problem from the top down. I just don't understand why you are so dedicated to a narrative that completely excuses the play on the field. Hank Brown, or anyone else on the roster, may not be any better but I do think it's time to find out. Not sure what there is to lose at this point.

I am not excusing the play. What are ypu talking about. I said Thorne sucked last night.
I dont want the tires going off the tracks.

We can rebound to exceed very modest expectations, sell upside, and then the show is back on the road. Or we can panic and destroy all off-season momentum.

The fanbase? That's already happened.
Another game? That happens regularly.
Recruiting? You think recruits are going to want to play for what they saw yesterday?

I dont find 4 INT games very typical.
What is typical is PT is turnover machine. I tried telling you that last year. Dude has had double digit INTs every season he’s been a starter. He stares down WRs and takes forever to finally throw it. That’s easy pickings for a college secondary.

Gus signed the # 6 class in 2020. Why not?We just need a splash of credibility to back it up.

Fanbase isnt the smartest either. Pretty dumb.

Especially the ones who wanted to see PT start another game after last season.

Hard to be optimistic about that. Our OL looks as bad as last season, Thorne looks worse, we're already injured up front and we haven't established a running game, which is where the bulk of our experience is. The defense did adjust last night and looked decent, but I have to believe Cal is still at the very low end of offensive threat that we will face this season.
Exceeding modest expectations is at least 7 wins and that feels like a difficult lift after yesterday.

In Baseball there are games where the greatest pitchers of all time simply don't have their best stuff. When that happens, you take him out and go to the bullpen, Not saying Thorne is great but he clearly did not have his best stuff yesterday. Why not go to the bullpen?.

Bitch, you called for Ashford, Gatewood, etc. too.
And I’ve never called for Finley to start, so you can quit with that lie. You and Corch have been sucking that triple pump chump dick all offseason. Own it and quit trying to make excuses for one of the worst QBs in Auburn history.

I called for Gatewood during the QB competition because I hadn't seen Nix play ever. Not once afterwards.
I called for Ashford because Finley sucked and we sucked and I ended up wrong Finley was better than sucky Ashford.

You did when Nix was here.yessireee bob you did. Didnt you just lie last night telling me Salter passed for over 300 yards?

No I didn’t. Keep lying though. Salter’s stats before the game winning drive he had 256 yards passing.
Quit trying to deflect and own the train wreck of the triple pump chump.

Why do other schools seem to have clones at QB?? What I mean is, QB1 goes down with an injury, QB2 comes in and lights it up. They don’t have to change the playbook one bit.
Us? If QB1 goes down, QB2 comes in and hands off because he’s “not ready.” Why is that? This is big boy football.

Cal did exactly that when their starter got hurt yesterday.
