They're small? Maybe that's one of the reasons our players look like they "suck arse".

because SL doesn't want him opening up too many holes in the running game. It might force him out of his game plan to sling the ball all over the place and call sweeps to the short side of the field.

We are small and weak, that's probably why our defensive line sucks. Have you seen Bama's weight program? They have these cards like student cards but for the football team. They swipe them in the weight room and it loads their personalized workout tracks their progress adds the weight for them and and when they're done working out it orders their post work out meal based on what they need (gain weight) / (lose weight). That's why their cb's are the size of our linebackers. Have you seen Dee Millner? We are small and weak with the exception of a few "gym rats" who love to work out. You have to remember we are recruiting the same guys from the same places. They go to Bama get swole up and coached up or come to Auburn and get average as frick

What else can Chizik realistically sell them other than, "You can come here and play as a freshman." And if that's your only recruiting pitch four years into your tenure, well then that basically says it all.
