What's up with the fake Gabe Wright? How can that be a credible source?

That is great and encouraging. JJ is hopefully our future.

Ideal scenario (IMO) is NM starts, JJ is named #2 and continues to get better an push him all season long.

The battle for #2 is important. #2 gets more reps and attention and has to mentally prepare each week in case there is an injury or #1 falls apart.

I think that is a better plan than a RS for JJ if JJ can handle it and is good enough to be the #2. Hell, maybe by mid year, he starts seeing PT in a limited roll.
You can do all that while Redshirting a player. Bama did it with AJ McCarron. If McElroy would have gotten hurt they would have pulled AJ's redshirt and he would have started over then #2 on paper Star Jackson.

Other than the Nick Marshall debacle in June he has been really good on info. He is probably someone close to Gabe or another player that usually gets real good info.

JJ has impressed but been inconsistent with management and presnap adjustments

That is what a true freshman should have issues with. he will struggle with reading Ds at this level until he gets more time.

He is not ready.

So far from what I've heard/read, I think they're downplaying Marshall a little bit right now. He will start. The battle for #2 seems to be JJ and KF right now.

KF needs to be moved to H-back

So we ride NM for 2 years (Hopefully)
JJ starts as a Junior and Senior
Then White starts as a Junior?

Is this the collective plan from the board?

Johnson hasn't chosen him yet. Still got 3+ weeks to go until kickoff.

True, true... I was addressing the report that he was the most impressive LB in the scrimmage though.

No,that fool said Marshall was not coming to AU and headed to K State.

Only listen to the people you know and are paid to cover this stuff. They have sources you can trust.

At least for me anyway.

I think JJ redshirts this year barring injury to NM (on my knees praying as we speak). JJ as a RS-Soph battles it out with then RS-Frosh Sean White and True Frosh Tyler Queen. I am making no plans beyond that.

KF doesn't have the physical mentality to play H-back.

He would be a DISASTER at that position.

I think that's the overall feeling on this board. I'm more sold on White than JJ right now but we'll see.

It worked out for Florida with Trey Burton.

Just because Trey Burton did it doesn't mean every QB can do it. Isn't one of the big knocks on Frazier him being afraid of contact? How is that gonna work out for a H-Back?
