I dont even think Jabari Smith is that great of a defender but if he wanted to his length could probably lock LARRY BIRD down.

Larry Bird played against the milkman and crack addicts. Stick to the subject.

Defensive MVP Michael Jordan couldnt lock down Bird, but jang says:

Not a flame- but what gives you positive feelings if Durkin were a plan b? If he’s on the sidelines as HC in 2026—what about him make AU different? Honest question.

I think the D would be top 20 and he'd find an OC that wants to run the ball. If he keeps most of the O talent we'd be set.

Bama and UGA have played at Auburn for years. The increase is related to NIL.

I like it. His defense kept us in every game this year.

Overall I don't have a problem with Durkin. Recruiting wise it is a great move and I have to think we will be getting guys that run his system better going forward. I don't think it is perfect by any means, but I see a lot of what we do scheme wise in the NFL currently. I'd like to see us bring a little more pressure, but hopefully as our DL talent increases, that takes care of that issue.
