Reminds me of the head coach when Namath was with the Jets. Namath blew through curfew the night preceding game day. Coach tells him when the team met that morning that he is benching him.

Afterwards Namath walks in his office, and in a nice sweet tone starts apologizing to the coach and sits on the corner of his desk and says "Coach I really dont want to do this but if you are serious Im gonna have to call the owner.
