In Coleman's case it's turning around and running backwards for a 3 yard gain.
We just forget about if he even catches it? Big gainer this past weekend on a jump ball hit right in his hands and dropped it. No contact from the DB just a straight drop.
He’s also shown an unwillingness to go across the middle catch the ball and get hit. Multiple times last season he checked up on slants or dropped them watching a defender close in.
That’s a personal mentality and has nothing to do with coaching. However I think our offensive coaches suck at this point

Our football leaders are not real leaders. Faulk couldn't have picked a better season to barely get any TFLs. OL sucks. Recruits suck. QB sucks. Punter did a 14 yard punt. WRs play peek a boo. Malcolm only beats his GF,
But they got internet to cope.

I don’t disagree, and it all starts from the tippy top. If Cohen is an idiot and doesn’t have balls, he needs to go too.

Now keldrick has just posted a pic of damari on his story saying “my dawg!!!” This is all intentional public insubordination, it’s over. You have to fire him right now.

He's definitely overrated at this point but I think it has more to do with coaching and usage than his talent.
I fully believe he could be put in the slot, used as a position wr like Fields, a deep threat, hell even on reverses and such but the coaches pegged him as a jump ball / back shoulder guy so thats what we get.
He needs to transer into more of an NFL style system. I'm sure he'll end up having a great career and NFL career but Auburn is fricking him.

He's missed some contested catches but having a QB that can get the ball to him when he has beaten his defender down the field would open up so much of the field.

This!! Until a defense gets beat deep a few times, they’re gonna crowd the line of scrimmage. If all you throw are 3-5 yard patterns, expect all 11 defenders to be within 10 yards of the LOS. Makes it pretty congested, hard to get open, and even harder to run after the catch- even if the first guy misses.

The bane of Auburn offenses for nearly a decade, now.
