Could have been worse. We could have lost to No. Illinois.

Northern Illinois looks to be a very good team this year and will probably win the MAC. Cal is a 7-5, 8-4 team. We’ll be lucky to make a bowl game unless things turn around quickly. Thats a damn shame because we had a very favorable path to at least start off 4-0 and build some momentum. Instead, we’re already talking about a loss. Feels like Groundhog Day.

Cal may not be a horrible loss perception wise down the road. Cal undeniably has a decent team.

Cal sucks, bro. UC Davis was close. Today was close. A good team will destroy them.

I'm not throwing in the towel just yet. Not sorry.

With the plethora of weird things that happened today I believe we just lost a classic get fricked game. You can see the ingredients of those games quite clearly. Backwards passes? Chad Baker Mazara getting ejected? Thorne spiking a bobbled snap?

For every step forward Thorne takes, there’s two or three steps back. It will always be somewhat of a mystery to me why Freeze has consistently been loyal to him. Turnover wise, this was the worst performance by an Auburn QB in almost two decades. I didn’t think I’d ever see an AU QB performance that was worse than Kiehl Frazier at Mississippi State in 2012, but it happened today.

I'm not saying you have to give up but the constant excuses or trying to act like cal is good is puzzling

Well we didnt expect him to be special. We just need a bridge QB and he didnt get help. If we know his weaknesses help him....

Freeze signed him one of the best WR classes of all time and spent some big money on the top OT in the portal. Get tf outta here with this.

Those WRs are freshmen. That was a good start.

The OL help has not been seen yet.

Even Freeze said we couldn't protect him.

KLS was the #1 WR in the portal. The Georgia State kid was highly sought after too.

Hard to see when the opposing defense is running bear front and blitzing when they have zero fear of PT.

Then get someone in there that makes quicker decisions.

Those calls were made. Triple pump chump wouldn’t throw it.
