as for position coaches let's wait and see who Prime hires and who we end up with. Right now Prime will be coaching in there last game. I know he is recruiting for CU but he is bringing most of his staff with him.

I'm not out on Freeze by any means (yet), but color me skeptical from day 1 when he got up in the introductory presser and talked about his phone blowing up with all the great coaches wanting to come work here. Seems like I heard that exact same thing from another coach here a mere two years ago, and we ended up robbing the staffs of Boise and South Carolina
Keeping Caddy was a good move and I have no issue with the two line coaches, but wtf is going on with coordinators? I've been of the opinion that he's had those locked down but not announced, but now there's no reason not to announce. It's looking more like WE AIN'T GOT NONE

Claiming someone is right before any coaching and recruiting has taken place is a bold strategy cotton.
I will wait and see how it plays out. I guess we get complaining Jang the rest of Freeze's tenure. Oh well.

Don't disagree, but as I stated before his perspective is going to be way different than most of us fans. Sometimes we as fans can be right and other times completely wrong.

There’s still plenty of good coaches out there but if he hires some fricks like Mason or Grantham then I’ll be way less optimistic than I was.
I just hope Freeze doesn’t have the same hiring issues that Gus Malzahn had.

I'm with you and will jump into nega-tiger if I see some coordinator hires that say there wasn't as many calling as Freeze claimed.
Positional hires don't seem horrible at all, but yeah a Matt Luke would have been awesome, and names like that of course would warm the fuzzies.

It was my issue from the jump with Freeze. I just don't see elite coordinators or coaches hitching their wagon to him right off the bat in his return to P5 football. Hesbjust got too much baggage and I don't blame established guys for being skeptical.
He's going to have to be very good at identifying young coaching talent and give them a shot and hope the money and the young coaches can sign some top end talent to come play for them. It's gonna be an uphill battle, but at least he doesn't seem lazy like the last guy.

You claiming he's right before anyone knows doesn't make it so. By the way he didn't say the others were underwhelming. He said they aren't good young coaches, how do you or he know they aren't?
