Tell me how awesome was Malik when he left auburn? He transferred to fricking liberty. If he was all that he would have had a better offer.

Malik is in the NFL today because people bought into fool’s gold. But should we celebrate his development or not? Freeze lost to Tatertot that year. GMAFB if you think that season was anything other than average.

Handicapping Freezes run at Liberty is difficult… on the one hand they were a brand new FBS team playing as an independent… on the other, LU is committed to being a successful program… significantly more so than their peers.

Turner gill never had them in the top 25. Do you expect Liberty to go undefeated every year? So because he didn’t repeat 10-1 he’s not a good coach?

There is no proof of sustained success and there is nothing wrong with pointing that out.
Malik’s 8-5 season may even be similar to Nick Marshall’s 8-5 season tenure and nobody here will call that 2014 team successful.
