Bama went into a complete change of direction is what happened. They dont even use RBs.
Gus brought more recruiting success to UCF than they've used to but he will lose 8. Gus might as well be Jimbo Fisher!

Absolutely, I never thought he would beat TAM and when he lost a 21 point lead, It seemed like he wouldnt. But he someone pulled out a 4 overtime win which was pretty impressive that the guys stayed in there and won the game. Should give them a big boost of confidence going into Saturday since now they know that Alabama talent is beatable.
I still dont like him and honestly, my opinion of his game time coaching ability has not changed. He is recruiting well and has not let the team fall apart which is good coaching on his part
So I apologize for that.

No you still have yet to tell me why Alabama, who makes all the two team and 4 team playoffs, may not make the 12 team playoff this year all the sudden. Especially since they are basically the most talented program in college football

Deboer inherited a championship team, filled with 5* talent, but he's no where near the motivator that Saban was. NIL and the transfer portal has made the HC job that much more difficult controlling the emotions of young guys with swelled heads. If you are going to be more of a "friend" coach, than a "fear" coach, your players have to like you. Looks like Alabama's current roster neither fears him, or really likes him. Freeze is not a fear coach, but by all accounts, his players, his recruits, really like him. Once we get the overall talent and experience level up from the dismal state it was in when Freeze took over, less than two years ago, I can see a massive swing in our success rate. Bruce Pearl for example, didn't have immediate success, but given time, we have seen consistent success under his reign, and now on the cusp of seeing unprecedented success. There were quite a few AU fans that weren't happy with the baggage that came with Bruce Pearl's hire, but those naysayers are long gone now. I suspect you will be part of that club in just very short time. Just a week ago, you were adamant that we had no chance to win our last two games. Now we have a punchers chance to prove you 100% wrong.
