Blowing away Cohen at an interview isn't exactly something to hang your hat on. Moorehead was an awful fit for MSU, just like Fickell would be at Auburn. Now they've got Leach, who I like, but let's face it, he's at the very end of his career. So forgive me if I don't start get excited about coaches who "wowed" Cohen during an interview.

I’m not asking you to like your AD. I don’t even want your poor man opinion. I’m showing you how your AD operates

I know some are down on Freeze, but he is the Devil we Know vs some slapdick. If stories are true about Kiffin not wanting a buyout that means he is really not willing to commit to a school. Totally feels like Imhave kniffin pegged as an egotistical nut job, which explains why he goes on 4th down so much.
Exactly! Kiffin is always looking for BBD. All you have to do, is look at his extensive career.

Shane Beamer

He is a tough read. He lost to Billy by 30 this year too.

And I'm telling you that your suspect information is moot. If we were willing pay Kiffin $12 mill/year and we end up with Brian Johnson because he blew away an interview, then we have a shite AD. Then again, you had your baton twirling at double time over someone with zero FBS coaching experience. Might as well keep Caddy. At least he's loved by all and loyal to the school.

True, but SC was 6-16 the previous two years before he became head coach. They are now 15-10 with back to back bowl appearances. They beat their rival #8 Clemson after destroying #5 Tennessee. He’s an exciting coach and has extensive recruiting experience at Power 5 programs.

We were never going to pay Kiffin. get real

He was willing to make a hire base on Judge’s interview so you can draw your conclusions.

Deion and Kiffin > BOB, Harsin, Freeze and Clark

Nix > Findley

Your takes are perpetually wrong and I’ll be here to add more of your takes to your rapidly growing list.

Why would Fickell be an awful "fit"? He's a quintessential family man with like 6 kids, a defensive coach, typical "hard work" program builder type. Auburn people typically eat that shite up. He's not a weirdo nor is he an "a-hole".

The only question is the lack of SEC experience or P5 experience outside Ohio. However, the guy spent 15 years at Ohio State so he knows what an SEC team is supposed to operate like. He has also spent a lot of time recruiting the South East (OSU pulls quite a few players from Florida, Georgia, etc).

Fickell and then Mike Elko have to be looked at strongly at this point

Those are the 2 best coaches with the most potential we can land at this point

Longer we wait, the more jobs that open up and snag em

We do not need potential… we need proven commodity…. Potential has gotten us here already

Fickell is definitely “proven.”

So is Prime but folks don’t believe the hype

Dont look at it that way bro. You can always just join the "Wait till it happens" crowd.

We are still lurking. Watching, taking notes and will react once Auburn does Auburn things

Then we will all cry and drink together

The most ridiculous thing that will be written during the entire coaching search.

If by "proven" you mean winning the worst conference is all of FCS, or being the OC on a high school team, then the list of "proven" coaches just got expanded and it looks like a NYC phone book.

Prime has WAYYYY more head coaching experience than all of these before they took HC jobs in P5

Kirby
Dabo
Lincoln Riley
Dan Lanning

You seriously lack basic reasoning skills.

Sanders has never been associated with ANY P5 team as a coach at any capacity. The guys you listed had a shite ton more experience when they were hired, than Sanders has to this day. Throwing the moniker "headcoach" out there does not change a damn thing, especially considering the jobs were he's been a headcoach. Every coach above GA currently on his staff at JSU, is more experience than he is.
