If we fire freeze we push our competitive windows back AGAIN. And there is no objective reason to fire him rn. The class is still together and the team as a whole is improving every week record be damned. It ain't about the record yet. If we go 4-8 this year and then 8-4 next wtf did this year's record even matter??? And not a single person can give me an indisputable reason to think we won't go 8-4 next year.

I agree with this in it's entirety. Not only would we kick competitive football further down the road, we would be affording the new HC even less room to work with because by now we are already sick of all of it. ESPN is already trying to use our negativity to misrepresent Freeze as if he owns our current 9-25 p4 record. Freeze is not responsible for 9-25, and despite that record being who we are, Freeze cannot answer for Auburn fans wanting to be done with the shite years.

Not great, not bad, so far. Cubelic has already pointed out they sucked in a cupcake game so I am guessing they regress as competition picks up.

Look at our last 7 games and tell me how it is emotional to call it a complete failure. We've been blowout by multiple teams with less talent, lost to two less talented teams at home and had one of the all time spectacular losses in college football history.

You are including games from year one. What did you expect for year one? His staff blew the Bama game but did you really expect to win going in. He had one real blunder.

To beat New Mexico State and not get embarrassed by Maryland isn't too much to ask I promise.

No, it’s not to much to ask.

Auburn is a Top 20 all time winningest team.

Hugh better start winning some games.

We are not a complete failure, but there are several things that CHF has done that just look like bad coaching.
- Payton Thorne - no improvement for a season and a third (maybe he is even worse now), that is on CHF to coach him up or get another QB
- frequent bad gameplan on offense - why hasn’t J Hunter had a lot more carries? why do we keep throwing the ball when we have 2 interceptions in a game?
- adjustments by offense or defense to what the other team is doing are made too late - Cal game first half defense is just one example

I do not want to change head coaches because it will be a big setback, but I also think we have to be realistic about what we are seeing on the field.

The New Mexico State game was disturbing in so many ways but beyond that the results were within the realm of expectation.

I don’t think anyone can spin that loss. It was huge. It that guy goes 2-0, what can you spin?

I dont understand the question but I do not know how you can say I am spinning anything. Before last season I predicted 8 would be the ceiling. Most people here did. The only difference was the games got played. Do those predictions not matter. We predicted losses and losing plays make for losses. NM State was different obviously but not Maryland.

I don’t want him to be fired this year.

I want Auburn fans to see well and clear for a good amount of time how hiring a LESS competent coach than an incompetent Gus Malzahn is never a good move.

You support your opinion and have evolved away from supporting Auburn.

Sad!
