I hope he stays on, however, we need to be prepared for the possibility that the next coach has other ideas.

One reason I'm so high on Deion, is my belief that he's more likely to retain some of the AU fam, however, we do need to be prepared to back tf off and let the next coach build their own staff.

I'm, in no way saying Caddy should be the head coach, based on lack of experience. Caddilac Williams got a shite-ton more press yesterday, than Sanders did beating up on another no-talent team. Sanders claim to fame as a coach so far? He flipped a 5* and got into a beef with another HBCU coach. That's it. That's his monster headlines.

Glad you brought that up. Sanders 1st year, was his best class. 62nd in the country according to 247. Next year, he dropped to 75th. He currently has the 102nd ranked class.

I understand this is Jackson State we are talking about, but a trend is a trend. In other words, and I'll use a very popular word that's being thrown around. The "splash" seems to have worn off.

And yes, I did want Prime because he is “famous.” I used to watch High school all star games and listen to highly rated recruits say playing for Deion was special. That they liked playing for him. Now I get why that could backfire- but now people are asking well why can we not do that for a state of Alabama icon and I draw my line there. It was all about going big with Deion. Caddy is just another name. The staff could’ve just as easily asked Etheridge to be interim.
