...we are getting an additional QB or WR coach? It seems like if we wanted to max out recruiting this cycle, this would get announced soon.

We've got an antenna. I get to watch quite a few games. But radio isn't bad either. Radio is how I followed most Auburn games as a kid anyway. I still enjoy it.

I have heard from Keef that JS has been through two series of ballet lessons, just to get the Whirly-Bird down pat.
We will score on the first play from scrimmage using it vs. Clempson in 2017.

Just because Stidham is here doesn't mean there is some guarantee of QB/WR success.
Our QB play since Nic Marshall hasn't given anyone the warm fuzzies. Game film shows the QBs stagnant in their development or even regressing in their mechanics. And we've not had consistent production from our WR receiver corps, despite some highly-rated recruits. I'm not the only one who notices the simple routes they run.
I'm cautiously optimistic that we'll be in the hunt with Stidham, but I've watched his games. He is accurate and makes good decisions, but he's wooden and has limited success when the play breaks down. As we all know, in the SEC, plays break down...a lot.
Stidham appears to be a guy that knows how to use the tools he's given, but he's been injured once. I just wish we had a proven QB guru on staff to shore up this position and be there to execute plan B if Stidham is limping by mid season.

I am an AU Lifer. I'm not going anywhere.
But I'm not lowering my expectations just because we haven't had the historical success you describe. Elite teams are always tweaking their formula to win it all. That's all I'm suggesting.
QB/WR play has been lacking for a few years now, and other than "promoting" CRL to play caller, I haven't seen any evolution in this department.
We need an assistant coaching boost this off-season.
But I'm not lowering my expectations just because we haven't had the historical success you describe. Elite teams are always tweaking their formula to win it all. That's all I'm suggesting.
