I'm sure recruits look here and not at the shitshow product on the field, right idiot? Do they allow cell phone use during recess at your school sport?

Yes our threads are DEFINITELY why Harsin can’t/won’t recruit /s

Media in general is why someone like Kiffin, and kids who we want to play, will be offput by Auburn. AU_251, shouldn't you be shrimping or something? You're burning daylight.

No, things like jetgate and meddling boosters wearing yellow cowboy costumes do. Would you rush to a job where this guy controls your fate?

Harsin managed that just fine on his own.

Right. None of it is good for our school.
The fans broadcasting the phrase "dumpster fire" at every opportunity is a net negative.

Bama fans are saying we are running off a good coach. That’s where I’m at with your posts

Phrases like sack up pussies immediately make your comments meaningless

Btw they cheered when Gus was fired. If you’re aligned with Bama fans maybe you’re wrong

You caught me. I'm an alter.
Some of yalls pride is too intertwined with Auburn football. In what world do we actually deserve better than what we have?
You either love the school or you don't.
You don't have to distance yourself from our football program to save your own ego, i.e. "that's not the Auburn football I know or I deserve." Selfish dickheads. We had one once-in-a-generation player in 2010 take us to the promised land and now we think we are royalty.
Now, let's stfu and go get lane.

Is this greygoose's angry alter?

Yes. You’re an AUbvious alt.
In what world does any school deserve better? Nobody deserves anything more than what they put into it.
You can minimize the rest of our achievements whatever if you were talking 9 win seasons, 10 win seasons on the reg then I’d agree with you.

Your assumptions about me tell me that you have the same scorched earth approach to the program as your oh-so-precious boosters now have. I just want what's good for Auburn. I never said I wanted to retain Harsin. For some reason you make this assumption.
See, we can find common ground. I agree with you that we're lacking in NC's, road wins, and 10 win seasons as compared to what many consider our "peers" in Bama UGA LSU.

The Tennessee fearmongering is currently being played out by anybody who is either not on board with firing Harsin or not on board with keeping Harsin even though with Harsin we already seem to be trending steeper downward to Tennessee. Who knows what the future is but all I know is Harsin has brought nothing more than shame and embarrassment to Auburn.
Posted on 9/29/22 at 10:34 am to AU_251
Letting the recruits know Harsin will not be retained will probably give recruiting a boost. Sarcasm, but not sarcasm.
Posted on 9/29/22 at 10:34 am to jangalang
I don't even understand what the Tennessee fear mongering is supposed to be anymore. They went through 3 completely shite HC's in ~10 years until they finally hired the right guy and he has them ranked in the Top 10 in his second season on the job, with a Top 10 recruiting class as of today.
Firing bad HC's doesn't hurt your program. Tennessee literally just proved that.
Tennessee should actually offer hope. All it takes is one good hire. It starts with sound leadership at the top, which is what it appears we finally have right now. The end-game Malzahn decline and Harsin nightmare is all the by-product of the turmoil of Leath and then Gogue not leading this program properly.

My concern: we do retain Harsin for 1-2 years - however unlikely this is, if it does happen, our concerted efforts (fans, media) to call for his head result in the cupboards being left even more bare. Then we may wish we were Butch Jones' UTk.
Posted on 9/29/22 at 10:36 am to metafour
We have more geographical recruiting advantages than UTk, as well. Much easier to win at AU than UTk these days....just need the right guy.
