If you have 6 months on your contract as AD and you’re not being offered an extension - you’re being asked to leave

He was more than likely a stability market rate moron in 2017.

I wouldn’t call it informative. Most of us having been saying all that for years.
The BOT hired Leath in secrecy - despite knowing of Leath’s past issues - and it ended up getting us in the bad spot we’re in now.

Well we already pay higher than the national average, and our recruiting is trash with Harsin. Sometimes money isn't everything

Do we pay higher than the sec average?
Posted on 10/6/22 at 3:19 pm to blzr
Doubtful, that would mean Harsin had support

Spending money under Harsin is like Carrot Top’s face lifts. No amount of money spent is going to make that look good.

Jeff Whitehead is the new Senior Associate AD over compliance. Coincidentally worked at Troy from 15-18 with the current Utah St AD

good, now hire hartwell so he can start the coaching hire. why are we dragging our feet with this?

Sounds like things are happening and plans are already in place. Hopefully one is for the next coach too

I don't think Hartwell wants his first official action to be the firing of Harsin. So might be possible the firing happens prior to an AD announcement.

Correct. I think Rich will be Asst AD and Hartwell AD.
Rich's spot was filled today for compliance by jeff whitehead.

Someone said on another message board that Rich pretty much just wants to be in an advisory type role now. Will probably collect some check from the university to answer some questions or you may be right and he stays on for a year to help with the transition.
