Deion getting pissed and turning the world of Twitter anger against us isn’t much different than cowherd/ Thamel/ etc setting aim at us. Very loud but can be tuned out.
the sphere of influence of Deion Sanders compared to thamel? Dumb take my man. them main reason you want Deion is because he would bring in recruits, but by the same logic, he could cost us recruits with equal ease

Good point. So my question is, why do you accept all the risk of bad pub with Freeze but are scared Deion might get mad and talk bad about us?
Coaching record and experience. Deion just entered the arena and I dont feel comfortable handing the reins to a rookie coach

Well LSU, Tennessee, Oregon, Oklahoma, Florida, Texas, Miami, Va Tech all recently hired coaches and none of them were interested in Lane and rebuffed him just like AU did. Think about it. There is a reason and it's not the women. Freeze is definitely worse because he's so dumb and embarrassing. Desperate Va Tech and Tennessee didn't even want him.

He could cost us recruits at the worst case scenario which would be no different than what we are in now but just like a lot of things that offer ROI sometimes people have to act when certainty is unattainable. It’s what you’re asking us to do with Freeze when his replication of recruiting successes via legitimate means is far from certain as well running a respectable program.

“Y’all sunshine pumpers don’t even know how much we are screwed. Deion would screw us, good coaches don’t want to coach here, the fanbase is toxic, power hungry boosters want to drive this program to the ground, and if y’all don’t accept either of Freeze or Bill Clark your idiots!! You hear me!”

Oh cool, we've reached the GIF cycle of the thread again.

Up next: "Well, who's a viable candidate" followed by 14 pages of arguments, 5 pages of Hugh/Deion talk, and then the GIF cycle starts again.

If we go with Grimes it will be the first time we have hired an assistant/coordinator to run the program since Shug.

Gus was a head coach when he was hired. Unless you're saying he was hired to run the program in 2009.

After Bill Clark tried to embarrass us during the last coaching search he can go kick rocks but I'm down with Freeze though
