hats fair. Will you be taking the same approach with Lane Kiffin?

He has matured enough for me. Boosters better hide their wives though. Consensual sex isn’t a crime.

"The NCAA has put Mississippi State's football program on probation for two years and cut two scholarships for the upcoming year for infractions that included recruiting violations."

really Freep. Amazing how little some of yall remember.

Here's a link to the negotiated resolution of the case.

Before you link it, do you know what the case was about, and the level of Mullen's involvement? (hint: not exactly the level of this)
quote:

Violation Summary: The University of Mississippi lacked institutional control and fostered an unconstrained culture of booster involvement in football recruiting. Six football staff members and 12 boosters were involved in the violations, which included the provision of approximately $37,000 to prospects through cash payments, the use of automobiles, lodging, transportation, meals and apparel. Two staff members also helped arrange fraudulent standardized test scores for three prospects. The panel found the involved head coach failed to monitor the program, allowing his staff to knowingly commit a series of recruiting violations, submit false information on recruiting paperwork and not report known violations.

Penalty Summary: Penalties in the case include three years of probation; a two-year postseason ban for the football team; a financial penalty; scholarship and recruiting restrictions; vacation of records; a two-conference-game suspension for the head coach; an eight-year show-cause order for the operations coordinator; five-year show-cause orders for an assistant coach and an assistant athletics director; and a two-year show-cause order for another assistant coach.

That is your opinion. I am of the belief that as long as he doesnt violate his contract, he can DM whoever he wants. Freedom of Speech and all

That's a big word sport. Seems you are an interloper over on the recruiting thread. That was made pretty clear by a few people on several occassions. Same rule will end up applying here for you too.

ETA: I will apologize for insulting you on a personal level, or in any way that you may have been. Sorry. Truth be told I have enjoyed watching Utah wreck people's seasons before. 2004 must have been ridiculously fun for you

I think you are witness.

Whatever boss.

Not to mention are we believing all women again? How many times have we been down this road. I'll take a wait and see approach to this new development in the Hugh Freeze saga.

That's a choice for an argument.

For the record, the woman in that tweet, Chelsea Andrews, is a part of 22 former students actively suing Liberty for their history of silencing/covering up sexual assault, along with punishing women who did report it.

She is one of two that I know of who have actively come out and put their face out there. If you look up the lawsuit, she is "Jane Doe 7".

And if the AD is innocent?

You mean the same AD who resigned from Baylor due to their ongoing issues with sexual assault coverup?

That one?

Dude, you said Mullen was clean with the NCAA, he wasn't. That argument is over. I already stated Mullen regressed at FL, plus his teams were out of control off the field iirc.

Anywho, Mullen was a good coach, then he regressed.

As to Ole Miss violations, sounds like NIL to me

Resignation isnt an admission of guilt. Like i said, let it play out.

Then why not advocate hiring Mullen instead of Freeze?

I would rather keep Hars, than that scumbag hunchback Mullen (Cousin Eddie) who was behind the Cam Newton false allegations. Keep him and his football player loving wife away from Auburn.

Freeze just needed a burner phone for his hookers.

And Freeze has regressed at Liberty.

Which school do you think faces the tougher schedule?

And Bama scored 37. Last I checked, and I didn't do great at maths in school, but 37>36.

They scored two TDs in garbage time when the game was out of reach. It was a three touchdown lead with 7 minutes left.

I concur.

Still would take him in a heartbeat if it came down to him vs Freezus. And the hookers/NCAA stuff doesn't have anything to do with that preference.

If you compare the quality of players recruited, I would say they both have their own difficulties. Hard to win as an independent without a national brand imo.

so on the field results, recruiting and player development? fricking laughable you would say that. take away his off the field flaws, he is a slam dunk hire

What about the multiple players arrested during his tenure for sexual assault? Or the fact that Baylor outright stated that both Briles and McCaw were informed directly about the gang-rape of a woman by 5 athletes and did nothing about it?

Mullen is equal or superior in all three categories. And thats despite his lackluster recruiting at UF (where he was just okay, not terrible as many here have said).

The point is it’s impressive how well they played bama three straight years.

Who else has beaten them twice in a row and had a realistic shot at making it three? Maybe Clemson? Freeze didn’t luck into that. He’s a good coach.

So, if Freeze is a "good" coach. Malzahn must be excellent, since he pretty much beat Freeze in every metric?

You keep acting like his illegal recruiting advantage is just the NIL now. Nope, it would no longer be an advantage just for Freeze.

See sport, if you play with 12 men on the field and don't get called for it, it's an advantage. Now, if everyone can play with 12 men on the field, your advantage evaporates and you're back to an 8 win bucktooth bozo that caused former employers millions.
