You hate to get blownout that way, but it was the best way to convince some of the doubters that a change is needed. I do not think anyone is backing Chizik or Jay Jacobs now. The next step is to convince the "Auburn Creed" bunch that BP is the best answer.

Still don't think that weasel is the best answer for our program long-term. Don't trust him.

But that's just me.

Change needs to be made, but I don't think it needs to be to Bobby. Strong, Patterson, Peterson...someone besides Petrino.

Those supporting a "good guy" hire can hug a freaking root.... I want a coach that knows his role, win games, recruit and is a strict discipline type....

Any one of those type hire could end up like Turner Gill. With BP you know what kind of team you will have on the field.

That might be true about Strong, but both Patterson and Peterson have won BCS bowls and multiple conference championships.

My biggest concern is that Petrino has stabbed every previous employer in the back. His record of lying to his boss is even more consistent than his success on the field.

I'm not convinced he will win at AU either. He had a couple of decent years at Arky and two at UL. His team this year would've been better than they are now, but not by much.

BP is the best coach out there. Him him tomorrow.

Once I got a taste of that sweet sweet NC I'd gladly sellout for more wins.

It erased all doubt from even the most blinded people. Had one of the last holdouts call me and said after the game "you were right, he must be fired". The only question is when. I take no pleasure for being correct, I love Auburn and stayed until the last second, primarily to watch Wallace.

I left at halftime. I didn't even do that for the UGA game last year.

Petrino, as a few have been saying since the beginning (myself included), won't happen. Wish it would, honestly, but it won't. He doesn't fit in with the culture at Auburn, whether you like it or not.
