Barrett Trotter Sighting

Our fans were shite to him while he was here. Iirc, he still had another year of eligibility he could've used in 2012, but he chose to end his playing career after the way the fanbase treated him in 2011. It would've been a terrible season either way, but he would've at least been competent and a step up from the Clint Moseley/ Khiel Frazier/ Jonathan Wallace shitshow

Honestly though, I don't blame him one bit for dipping out when he did. Turned out to be a smart move, probably saved himself from some lifelong chronic pain from playing behind that '12 OL

I remember Barrett was 2nd string going in to what would be his final Auburn game against Virginia in the Chick Fila bowl.

Starter Clint Moseley went down early with an injury (ankle?). Barrett came in and played a great game!

A play that really stuck out to me was a pitch to Onterio McCaleb that was on the verge of being a big gainer. Barrett BUSTED HIS BUTT with extra effort to get downfield to throw a block for Onterio, who (as he was apt to do) simply chose to step out of bounds.
