Your assholes are so uptight that you're staging counter protests of purple chalk.

I guess you would be ok with it if it said kill all [insert race or religion here]

even in chalk. I get it that it is graffiti but it isn't typical graffiti. It calls for an extermination of race unless of course you are ok with it. Which seems like you are because you just think it is regular chalk graffiti.

I m not okay with any kind of grafitti. I would have cleaned it up and be done with it. The best thing to do about those situations is just get it cleaned up, and be done with it as quietly as possible.

Typically when I think of grafitti, I think of pictures and extremely bizaar messages and provocative messages. Have you not even been inside a gas station inside an Indian shop. frick MY PUSSY DADDY PLEASE.

You seem reasonable. If you give a frick, grab a rag, not a flag.

Ugh. Losing my fight against the urge to comment.

My understanding (could be wrong) is that it was chalk paint, not chalk, that was used. Basically acrylic paint with plaster of Paris added to it for a chalk-looking effect. Not something that just wipes off, especially on masonry.

Touching on your flag comment - my guess is the counter protestors had the flag 1) for America frick yeah reasons, 2) as a reminder that American nationals were taken hostage/killed on 10/7, and 3) as a frick you to the protestors who are supporting an oppressive regime while living in a country where you are allowed to express your views, no matter how stupid they are.

I am hopeful they brought the flag for number 3. But much like American hero that fought (he, him, they) I have to question the intentions, still.

I don't like it either, but that was calling for extermination of a race. That is what that saying means.

LOL...no shelter here. I have been to all the great vacation spots in my life. Where bullets were flying courtesy of the US military. Oh and yeah, not old enough to be a boomer. But I have seen in my life the hatred between some people over race or religion. I an I only said it a couple of times. So it seems like you don't really care about people calling for genocide.

There is a better board to discuss that. We have never discussed that war on this board unless directly talking about our jewish coach. This is a sports board. It is debatable this topic even deserved the attention it has already received. Wash the object off, prosecute the criminals, and dont alert the soccer moms and fearmongerers and dont create a big scene. That is the right playbook.
