Released today… it’s about as brutal as one could possibly get.

vs Ole Miss
@ Texas A&M
@ LSU
vs Vanderbilt
@ Miss State
vs South Carolina
@ Tennessee
vs Arkansas
vs Alabama
@ Kentucky

I would wager NIL would benefit AU/UA baseball more than any other school.

12-18 in SEC. 'Ship

The SEC is such a meat-grinder in baseball.

That would require both schools alumni base to care more than those other SEC schools and secure more lucrative deals than elsewhere. I don’t see that as realistic

I went down a YouTube rabbit hole on Easton bats about a week ago. AU obviously uses Easton bats these days, and anyone that wore a cup in HS in the late 80's/90's, Easton was their weapon of choice. I liked the classic green and silver, but I had a short swing and quick hands so I had the Black/Brown 34/31 or 34/30, I don't recall the actual ounces.

Anyway the video was measuring the swing speed, exit velocity, and a number of other metrics that frankly I didn't believe. All were that the new generation bats are as launchable as the classics. I just have a hard time believing that because those bats had to be regulated and limited. My suspicion is that what they were testing were dead bats as far as a real comparison. Who knows.
