I understand that Mazzone isn't an exciting or cutting edge hire. He does have some success with QBs.

a meh hire, to me.
But Cubelic, who I really have come to respect as an analyst, seems to think it'd be a great get because of his vast experience as a playcaller and success with QBs.
Hell I wasn't a fan of the Kevin Steele hire last year either, so I guess I'll continue w/ the sunshine and give Gus the benefit of the doubt on this hire. He's damn sure at least an upgrade from Rhett and not a part of Gus' coaching tree at all, so that's good.
