Cubelic was toting the company line this morning and in the process shitting on the local merchants and businesses of Auburn. That guy can go f*ck himself.

Not surprised. He's a sellout. We get better Auburn coverage from McElroy.

Cubelic has to be careful not to condemn the arrangement.

Taking money from Auburn businesses so that spoiled athletes that cannot convert a third down can be rich is a fantasy land that his employer wants.

Yea, which was why I was saying to take it with a big grain of salt

I don't doubt Mike was told that info by administrators, the devil is always in the details. He could be 100% correct in what he said, but if what he is saying still only applies to the 20k tickets, its completely irrelevant BS. If AU says of those tickets, 5K to students and 15k to season ticket holders, who cares? 25% of season ticket holders may get the option to add this game to their purchase but 75% are still SOL.

There are other aspects of this move that will benefit Auburn well beyond the game itself especially if Hugh Freeze can find some magic over the back half of the season.

Should the City of Auburn start providing money to offset the need to go to ATL?

How much do they make a game day weekend?

Auburn will receive an allotment of 20,645 tickets for the game,

I think this could potentially Net more than a typical home game if the average ticket price is at least $100. That would put us in the 7M~ (5M base + 2M~ ticket sales) profit range but still not worth it in my opinion.

I’m sure the tickets will be going for more than that though. I could see us bringing in 10M+ for this game.

Why don't we just move all our home games to Atlanta?

Or we can be a better football team and make the SECCG and all of that money can go to NIL!
