If I were a BYU fan would be pissed with coach right now. Get runner on with 1 out then give an out away with a bunt followed by pinch hitting for your best hitter with a guy that's 0-7 on the season only because it gives you RHP vs LH

We're still giving up too many big innings, but I atribute that more to our pitching coach just not having a great feel for when I guy is burnt.
Fortunately that is one of the easiest things to correct.
Gabe Gross has done a fantastic job so far when it comes to hitting with two strikes or two outs. We've scored over 50 runs with two outs already this year. I don't think we had but 100 or so last year.
