I could see Skipper and/or Shehan sticking around for another year.
Barney and Bright could leave. Rambusch and Mullins are for sure gone. Ware, Wyandt, Hall, Dyal, Land, Burk, and Hill are all transfer risks.
If Irish makes it school, Schoor could transfer as well.
With our current financial limitations, high turnover is inevitable.

I know zip about baseball recruiting and didn’t see any rankings on the PG site. How does this class stack up with the rest of the SEC?

We will sign 2-3 draftable players. So have to watch that. At the end of the day our recruiting will be somewhere around bottom 6 in the conference. We will live and die by getting impact transfers.

You have to pay for that.

We have 3 players rated 10 and 2 rated 9.5. Those are normally draft type players. SEC west teams are full of 10-9 rated players. 10 is the highest PG rating. Many of our commits are not rated that doesn’t mean anything really other then they haven’t played PG, been to a showcase, or haven’t garnered enough attention to get ranked by PG.
I could have that backwards 2 rated 10 and 3 rated 9.5. But basically we have 5 players rated. There are about 3 on the list that a purely potential type players 2 pitchers and 1 infielder. They could develop with college training.

The team that finished 5th in the SECw, Ole Miss, is up on Oklahoma 2-0 in the second inning in game 1 of World Series championship.

LSU has had some huge pickups in the portal, Butch needs to add some quality hitting

I was bitching in the other thread about the Easton bats but damn the new 2023 Black Magic that Ole Miss is using looks good sounds pretty good and OM has gone back to back to back homers. I still don’t think they are as hot as Louisville/DeMarini or Marucci/Victus but damn those balls were rockets. The scoring has been insane the entire playoffs.
Think they maybe be using just different stamped MLB baseballs. They are hot as fire

DeMarini was always my team’s goto in HS.
In youth league it was redline or something.

You’re a baby tho. DeMarini didn’t start making bats until like ‘98 or something like that. And they started in slow pitch softball and didn’t make a move to baseball until the 2000’s.
DeMarini is definitely the best of the baseball bat world right now. The Goods and the Voodoo One are the top of the class. Followed closely by the Louisville select pwr and marucci Cat models. For BBCOR.
For youth bats it’s marucci cat 9 composite. DeMarini I think either the CF or the Zoa. And then the metta

Yeah the redline was a Easton model and was the best bat I guess around 98-2000, they also had a z-core that was fire as well.

I remember that bat very well as well. I never could afford the expensive bats.
I played baseball from age 5 til high school. Don’t give a shite about it now.

You still wear your coaching baseball uniform at your old age? Uniforms are not meant to be worn by old men lol
Posted on 6/26/22 at 9:51 pm to jangalang
Lol we have to. shite I wear long and baggy. The new style is back to the tight as hell. I ain’t moving that direction. I can rock some damn turf shoes tho. Thank god I don’t have to wear spikes I wouldn’t be able to walk the next day. Which have to say they are much improved from my playing days. They could have flipped the spikes inward and they wouldn’t have been any more uncomfortable

Hold up hold up tho I ain’t that old. Just old
