True, but its not what was said, it was who was going to pay it.

Tubs buyout was nothing like Chiz' and Gus'. I felt is was easier to cut Tubs loose. OFc, we did Chiz too, but he stunk so bad, most just sucked up the buyout and got him gone.

Malzahn does just enough at times to make it harder, then throw in the millions of lost revenue this year, and the massive buyout, its not the visual the AD and President want to show. JMO
