Sure.
I think the offense wouldn’t have run at all today with Hank under center. Think the deer in the headlights look he had against Arky would have been magnified against an OU D that actually has a pulse.

I think we've seen, if he was good enough, he'd get a chance. Because what's in front of him isn't the answer.
He was there for spring and fall just like many of the other tf playing

It's time for apathy for the next year or two until it's acceptable to fire him. Hugh was overrated at OM, but a hell of a lot better than this. Right now he is the worst gameday coach in the country.

One gets a future player experience, one makes our head coach look stupid for playing a 5th year senior who can't play at this level. The results either way are a loss, but at least make it count for something. Losing with Thorne just tells future recruits you don't care.

I think the coaches pretty much squeezed everything they had out of their players today. But eventually Thorne was gonna win it or lose it, and he lost it.

It’s not the same with QBs. Bad experiences early tend to wreck them.

They are stupid because we can't afford to do it based on perception alone. However, it is clear he is doing an awful job preparing them and coaching on the sideline.

We aren't the only team in the SEC that has or has had talent issues. We had options and Freeze chose not to take them.
The portal is going to eat out lunch this off-season BECAUSE we look like shite on the field against teams with less talent than we do. That tells these kids that our coach talks a good game, but can't make it happen on the field. That's going to take a toll. We can talk about talent forever, but Freeze has two years. I have zero evidence that he's going to turn anything around.

Yes. This is the point. We are a major rebuild and are not super talented, but Hugh has lost to several teams that we are more talented than because of his atrocious in game coaching. On top of that, you can tell there's not much going on in practice in terms of coaching not committing stupid penalties, attention to detail or ball security.
I'd love for it to turn around but all of the evidence points to Hugh being a terrible coach, with or without talent.
