Why have I been thinking all along Townes as a backup came through in the clutch last Iron Bowl so missing Mcpherson would be mitigated. Did we have a backup FG kicker in the Iron Bowl the year before?

While yes that was bad, that was his first pressure kick and the bad play call in with a rushed start rattled him clearly. He’s otherwise been a pretty cool cat
