You have to let Heron or Purifoy take that shot.

Harper trying to be the hero because he's from Georgia.

Harper wants to be Frazier but is so not

He may very well be by the time he is a senior like Frazier is. Frazier didn't look like this as a freshman. In fact, Harper is scoring more now than Frazier did his first year as a starter as a sophomore and Harper is doing it with less minutes.

Harper has a very similar game and build as Frazier. In OOC player against lesser teams Harper took over a couple games and looked very similar to Frazier tonight. As he develops he may very well start doing this to conference teams later in his career.

He almost always tries to be the hero on every possession.

We are in double bonus with 7.5 seconds left and we do a NBA+ 3PT range shot from the guy who'd miss 4-5 threes in a row

fricking awful. You drive to the goal and to at least pick up a foul if not easy lay up.

That's the fricking play we run?

We got the ball 1 point down and proceeded to run 4-5 seconds off the clock before we called a timeout.

Then we call that shite.

Those 4-5 seconds might have been nice to give us a chance at a miracle 3-pointer in retrospect (after hypothetically fouling UGA), doesn't it?

Aw, who am I kidding... we would have fricked that one up too.

If the play is going to be a 3 then I'd let Brown shoot.

But I don't see why you don't have Heron drive to the basket if you're down by 1. I'm not attuned to the subtle nuances of basketball strategy by my thinking is UGA would be trying to avoid a foul and would leave an easier than normal lane/ shot attempt.

That team full of seniors didnt have near the talent this team has. It is the 30th game of the year and we look like the same shiteshow every damn game.

That team full of seniors were better basketball players at that point than this team is at this point. It's not even close really.

Yep I think Heron should've gotten the ball too.

Once again showing how much of a dumbass you are regarding our basketball team.

We have drastically improved in regards to our offensive sets, passing and off ball movement.

Our freshmen are still making the same mistakes in Game 30 that they were making in Game 1.

I'm sure there are coaches in the NCAA that can actually coach freshman players up from Game 1 to Game 30... but it doesn't seem that Bruce Pearl is one of them.

Helluva recruiter. Coach? Meh.

Better hope our incoming players for 17-18 and other future players are already set to go.

That was some bush league coaching.

You put your best rebounders in for a missed shot put back. Should have been Wiley Mclemore Purifoy and Dunans and Heron

You don't shoot a 3 because no chance of drawing foul and also it creates a long rebound.
C'mon man

Hard to say exactly who should have got the ball.

Rewatching it, very clear that was in no way designed for Harper to take a 3PT shot

What does any of that have to with my post?

That was a pretty good team we had in 08-09. Probably should've been in the tournament.

You were addressing quality of player.

I was pointing out that this year's team the quality of player in Game 1 = the quality of player in Game 30.

I don't know, but I always expected that as players got more experience, they made less stupid mistakes and they improved. My point? That ain't happening.
