Guys, Purifoy is soft and a headcase. Someone, coaches or whoever, pumped this guy up like he was going to waltz into this season and take over. He's nothing but a spot up shooter that plays horrible defense. Guy needs a reality check fast.

Pearl is a great coach when he can push tempo but as soon as someone forces him into half court sets he crumbles.

I don't really mind Miss State because they made some circus shots, but tonight was atrocious. No telling how many layups they had.

He needs to promote RJ and bring Harper off off the bench. RJ looks to get others involved first. Harper can too, but he hasn't gotten the message.
Purifoy has to expand his game and quit being lazy on defense.
If Bruce is preaching this and they aren't listening, he needs to find a way to get the message across. Too many of the same mistakes repeating themselves.

I don't know how you fix blowing leads but it's clear Pearl doesn't know either. Frustrating because past 2 games you have seen in first halves what team is capable of but no excuse for these meltdowns
