You saw it with everyone turning off the game. Yes we were playing poorly, but all the fouls just make the game go way too slowly and it's not fun.

The argument was that players would adjust to the new rules

That would require coaches/players to know consistently what is getting called

i quit watching at half...turned on radio

they were saying that they thought the head ref or someone made a call at half to stop letting it get so physical

Or refs to not call a foul when there is absolutely no contact.

And I'm serious when I say that the fat guy was calling fouls for a break. He absolutely did it twice.

I want Brown to start over Dunans now. I like Dunans game coming off the bench fresh to give a spark while Browns rediscovered on D will set the tone early

Brown also has been the only guy who consistently passes to the open man while driving

You can definitely tell what you're going to get from Dunans early in the game. My god he's terrible when he's off.

When Brown plays aggressively, so does the rest of our D. Would be nice for that to start from tipoff

I was about to say, our D is so much better when he's on the court. People can hate on his shooting all they want, but Purifoy has been just as bad lately and isn't nearly as good defensively.

Agreed. His D along with getting his shot back make him important to get off to a good start. I'd also like to see Harper step into a three or two early. It's money if he's hitting and it's an easy shot to get off.

Purifoy can't move his feet. It's like he's stuck in mud.

He just looks so hesitant. It's almost like he doesn't believe in his game right now. I think he doesn't trust his ankle yet, but he also doesn't look comfortable with the ball in his hands to me.

Poor shooting is just in his head. I've seen it happen to Kyle Korver. Just gotta work his way out of it. It's even effecting shot selection. He passed on some open ones tonight and took some horrible ones.

It sucks because he was a huge part of our success early on. He's fallen off a cliff. Would be nice to get early season Purifoy with the emergence of Wiley.

I'm just glad we didn't collapse like we have before. Them fighting to the end was big to me.

I guess tradition now for when team loses they bitch about fan support. Dunans tweeted this last night

Wen we win y'all true fans but wen we lose y'all switch up so quick

No TJ we just hate watching y'all play stupid when you got the talent to be better

Going to be tough to go 7-3 on the last 10. Especially starting 0-1

Still say we go 5-5

He should put up another contested three with all four of our guys on the complete other side of the court again. That was special.

After allowing 87 points in the loss, Auburn is now giving up an average of 83 points per game against SEC opponents, which is good for 13 in the conference ahead of only LSU.

We tend to bitch about offense a lot, but this is why we're losing games.

Our poor shot selection and unwillingness to be patient in half court sets is a large reason our defense is so bad.

We also have guys that take possessions off on defense or only play on ball defense, so they are consistently out of position and late to close out or contest.

100% this

Bruce needs to have a serious conversation whth the team about social media. These guys having bad games going on twitter and bitching is a bad look. It makes the fans not care as much. Also, this was a Tuesday at 8 pm game. It's going to be tough for us to fill up the stands for that kind of game. What teams do pack it out for this kind of game? The Kentuckys and Dukes?
