Chuck Person shot around 85% from FT line.

Who is working on their form?

Should they not be able to work as individuals on this?

At some level, it is a WILL Power deal.

A lot of times they're just flailing around the court, like a hybrid Street ball/college game.
This is how it's been all season. No one moving away from the ball, just passing back and forth until someone drives. The difference is that he was a more capable scorer than most on the team. His rebounding had also been improving recently. He's a stretch 4 who can legitimately shoot the 3. We don't have another one of those on be team unless you slide Heron into that spot.

Watch us go out and look incredible vs Kentucky

I wouldn't expect anything else from Auburn basketball

I think they said we've had atleast 7 newcomers in every year Bruce has been here. Y'all are going to need to realize that it's going to be ugly a lot of the time with turnover like that. Consistency will come.

I understand freshman are going to make many mistakes, but it just seems like structure is lacking. Am I wrong? There seems to be little adaptability in Pearl's offense specifically, almost like he intends to out talent teams.

I feel like the teams been in a mental funk since Georgia came back and kicked off that losing skid. Hopefully the W helps to settle down the team. No reason these guys can't come back and finish conference play with a record close to .500.

I mean our goal is to use depth and pace to beat teams. It's not like we're going to run ton of half court sets when that's your goal. I do think Pearl is having a little trouble adapting to the pussification of CBB. The fouls grind the game down into a FT shooting contest. To be honest, I'm having trouble adjusting to watching it.

Kentucky is going to break our spirit I'm afraid. If we lose by less than 20 I will be impressed.

The Posibarner is strong with you. I went full Negabarner after the Ole Miss game. Now that I've abandoned all hope, this train wreck of a game didn't upset me at all. I was glued to the screen to see just how bad it could be. The rest of the season should be fascinating.

We sort of run the offense but run into issues both FR and skill set/ability to effectively run the O so it looks planned

So here is how the O tries to/should work

Basically the whole offense is built on reversing the court (passes between Harper & Purifoy) while setting off multiple ball screens to get easy inside buckets when defenders get lost tracking both ball and fighting screens/"fake screens"

During this time, we should run baseline off ball screens from Wiley for say Heron who should get a pass inside of open and if not Heron set a screen for say Dunans and repeat

From there we can run variations that can be incredibly productive for example two

-Use a downscreen on a screener to open him up on the elbow/3PT
-Pass in high post to 5 for give and go for a 1 or 2 immediately cutting

Even with today's game it should be incredibly effective

Why we suck at running our O

-We don't pass effectively even when set up right.

-Most cutters aren't strong enough to score inside and settle back to 3PT (Dunans/Brown/Lang) while Purifoy/Heron just aren't comfortable there I guess

-Harper isn't effective inside w/o ball

-Guys want to be heroes/impatient (Insert anyone)

We've had a bad 4 game stretch, but that's hardly season defining in basketball. 2/3 of those losses should've been wins if we can learn to finish.

I think you're understimating the fact that the majority of the SEC sucks just as bad or worse than we do. Kentucky is the only team that is really out of reach talent wise. Teams like UF, SC, Arky, a&m should beat us but are by no means not winnable. Everybody else like I said is right at or level or worse.

I could see is going wins

2x LSU
1x Mizz
1x Bama
1x MSU
1x Tenn
2x (Ole Miss/Bama/UGA/TCU)
1x TAMU/UF/USCe/Ark

Give us 20 total wins

That's about how I saw the remaining as well but even as a posibarner I have hard time picking us to beat anybody twice. I'm setting a modest regular season goal of 18 wins and at least 1 in the SEC tourney for 19. Anything past that is icing for me

@TCU
2x Either Bama/LSU
1x Either Bama/LSU
1x MSU
1x UTk
1x Mizz
1x @ either OleMiss/UGA
1x UF/TAMU/USCe/Arkansas

1x SECT

Looks like everyone needs their ankles taped.
