Ashton? Deuce? Ashton-Deuce? What's the best plan?

My message board posting expertise says that going with one QB is better than "packages" for both. I thought Deuce came along just fine and certainly offers a huge benefit with his running ability. He has Nick Marshall potential on the ground.
But Mercer is not Alabama at night. I could see some big mistakes coming from a true freshman in that kind of environment.
Ashton is more mature, made great decisions against Vanderbilt, and has some dual threat abilities.
My vote is Ashton with Deuce enjoying from the sideline unless absolutely needed.

Ashton easily. He has 20+ games starting experience.

What does Deuce do against an SEC defense built around speed versus one step above the speed of a decent High school football team? Mercer wasn’t fast…….don’t fool yourself.
He’ll gain yards and based on what he can see, slice through gaps in the defense……..and yes, I’ve been on the field with NFL players.
Mercer was SLOW.

Make them prep for both. Yeah Ashton is the smart choice though.
