Right but is that issue going to start popping up again when we can't run like we have been?

We didn't run at will that game like we have the others.

Bama is made to destroy Bielema/Miles style power run attack. Say what you want about Gus, but the man almost always finds a way to have success on the ground against Bama.

It was initially built to destroy the Bielema/Miles type offense but it's more geared towards our type of offense now

In all honesty, I think it's geared to destroy EVERYTHING now. The Bama defense is more versatile now than the 2011 squads. I don't know WHAT offense matches up well against it. With that said, I think Gus/Rhett will have us schemed up to give our players a damn good chance.

But that's where we have been making our hay is just pounding the middle. Stove has added a dimension on the jet sweeps but this isn't like 2013 when we had Marshall and Grant or a Sammie Coates to stretch the field.

I love what our offense has done the last month but there is pretty much zero chance we can just line up and ram Pettway at Alabama 30-35 times and have any chance to move the ball consistently.

Gus will have his best schemes ready for that game for sure. I expect to try and stretch the field some, and if it works that is a very winnable game. That DL will be a true test for the OL and everyone being healthy will be a big part of making it work. I don't expect to see the YPC like we have been seeing with the speed and ability on their D, but we can still be effective. I would happily accept another LSU type Legatron win.
