He was an off-field coach for us for a bit, then was a DB coach at Troy before following their coach to west virginia.

Hard to say. He was troy's recruiting coordinator when he was there, so I'd assume so. From Mobile so that is always a plus.
His units were solid at Troy as far as the DB's go.

He was at Troy and WVU so there’s no telling. But he’s from Mobile and has SEC experience. Seems like a very high energy and personable guy so that’s always a plus. He was also director of high school relations for us so he’ll know the HS programs and coaches well

Terrible fricking hire. Was HC at Carver and was promised a job if he could get JJ to commit. fricked around with our recruiting when he was here.

And if he created problems when he was here, Gus wouldn't bring him back. His creds at Troy and WV were good.
