Saw the crowd size. Embarrassing.
Why? If there was no real game and it was a total shite show anyway, why go?
If you cant put a entertaining product out there for people to watch, they will stay home and watch the Masters. Its pretty simple

Why?
As one who went to many A-Day games in the past, even a few spring games at other schools, this wasn't even a glorified practice.
It used to be an event. They even promoted Tiger Walk for this?

I know, 'Get off my lawn' rant over.

Some are floating the idea of playing other schools, like happens in the NFL.
Presumably out of conference, not on their upcoming schedule match ups.
Seems like the Wild West all over again.

I have been to a lot of them as well. My drive was 2.5 hours each way. I could not imagine driving that distance on a spring day to watch basic practice. It was so short anyway with the running clock

But then, when has A-Day ever been that awesome?

A-Day was a good promotional opportunity, but I can't even find a cohesive YouTube video of this ill-conceived excuse for a non-scrimmage.

This. ADay is dead
Florida had 60k in attendance, but no doubt that had a lot to do with celebrating their basketball championship.
