Me putting a little more in won't get us close to what Oregon did for Offord, or a possible shoe deal. I think people want to see Auburn can spend right and get better players. Why should I do more and watch us land Thorne part 2 and OL from East Carolina, Tulsa, and UMass. Maybe if the big bag guys land a few difference makers, get us close, the piss ons like me will chip in for the cigar?

I, personally, am more inclined to give less after this season. Reality is the piss ons are fed up, and the reality is many feel the same way. We aren't to blame

This exemplifies the problem of our fan base. It’s not about just you. The problem is the majority of our fans think like this, instead of big picture.

Correct my individual contribution doesn’t affect anything but if 20,000 others did what I do it would create a massive windfall. Basketball and Football could have proper funding for NIL to at a minimum be competitive without the big donors. Add them in to close the deal on the elite of the elite and we are in business

We lost games this season not as a result of less talent, but as a result of arse game plan and play calling. Can we start a fund to buy Hugh a shovel to dig his head out of his own arse?

If you really think that consider our starting LT was Percy fricking Lewis.

We didn’t go get a portal QB because of cost.

What talent do we have in the junior and senior class? KLS a transfer, Jarquez homegrown underrated recruit. Our best OL Wade came from G5

I think currently it’s less than 1% of our fan base contributes to NIL, just trying to extrapolate the collective rough yearly estimated value at the $20/month contribution level, if there are 2 Million fans, conservative estimate.

Maybe the big money guys need to create a buzz around football, something similar to the one around basketball. Create a little excitement, win 8 fricking games a couple times again, then tell us at that point we are holding the program back. The last 3+ years have been shite, so much so.8 wins would feel good again

We have just a hair over 3000 that donate to OTV on a month basis

Consider this Ole Miss has almost 15,000 donors to their collective

Missing the forest for the trees.

I know it’s an odd concept for some here, but both can be true. Players also make all the things you claim are the reason we lost, easier to do.

We can argue chicken and egg all day long, but eventually you need to have the damn animal

Ole Miss isn't wallowing in mediocrity, at best, like we are right now either

Poker no one is disagreeing with you nor telling you what to do with your money.

But you have to agree jimmies and joes win football games. If you don’t agree with that I’m not sure how to help you understand. Granted this season was a massive disappointment but I think the complete opposite. When times are hard, double down, not pull back. We are at that point.

Fans bitched and complained for the past 25 years that the President, AD, Coach, and PTB weren’t aligned… that we needed that alignment. Well we have it.

Freshwater threatening to leave got a lot of old piss fans to start donating. Maybe if Freeze started winning big and then threatened to leave, some of the poors would start donating a little.

Man you really want to keep proving our point. In reality, they are the only ones that have done so.

You’re welcome to have this mentality like most of our fans do, its just disingenuous to also complain when we don’t get the talent because money when the big money people have to cover the base NIL and the bag dropping. The programs we are competing with and losing these scenarios to, aren’t operating that way.

Did Vandy, Oklahoma, Cal, Arkansas, and Mizzou all have talent above and beyond us? Go 3-2 versus that shite and where are we?

The 0-5 record against them wouldn't be fixed with NIL. It would be fixed by a better game plan faster.

I wonder why? They were able last season to go get 2 portal QBs to compete and still started the guy that was already on the team. They picked up several 5 star players through the portal. Defensive linemen from aTm.

We went and got a damn backup from aTm

They were until they had enough money to start getting some of the top guys from the portal. And if they don’t get those guys, they are the same trash program they’ve always been.

100%. Neither Corch or I are saying otherwise. I even said so in an earlier post.

Just pointing out constantly complaining that our money people aren’t doing enough, when they are literally the only ones doing something, is just insane. If we want out of this mess, it’s going to take a lot of money and it is impossible to be fully funded by just our big donors.
