I guess we dropped the Easton bat sponsor as well. Saw a Warstic, Goods, select power couple bats I couldn’t tell because of pine tar. Also saw a couple Eastons as well.

If you’re a power hitter and not hitting with the goods you’re cheating yourself. If you are power and contact and not hitting the select power you’re cheating yourself. And if you are a contact hitter that wants some good exit velo and not swinging the Cat-X or Voodoo then you taking the wrong weapons to the batters box.

Heard and seen some good things out of the new Atlas as well.

Easton had its day when it was the bat leader but just doesn’t compete with DeMarini, Louisville, and marucci

Seems like Armstrong has more spin on the ball this year. He did well in relief. Sometimes that delivery can be scary when hitters catch on and will start killing.

We will look back at the end of the year and say Armstrong was by far our best relief arm.

he looked sharp.

Bauman impressed me until he hit the wall.

Hell, Butch still doesn't know what he has right now.

Gonzo should have 20-30 pitches today.

It was text book offense with the sacrifice bunts and great base hits to follow on the 4 runs. Gabe proud.

I haven’t been able to watch much this weekend but catching an inning or 2 here and there. LaRue is the key to the offense because he’s to good to replace behind the plate and brings so much power. Has the new stance and swing helped yet? I saw 1 AB last night and he walked but swung and missed to pitches. Still in my opinion has way to much rotation in his swing and not enough linear. I’d never throw him anything down and in or a fast inside unless above his hand. Back door 2 seem fastballs low and outside. And soft stuff away as well. I don’t think he can put a good swing on a ball down and away

Scoreline right now:

Auburn 6
Indiana 1

1 runner on 1st, 2 outs

Pitching is doing an excellent job today

Edit: Indiana scores, capitalized by having a man at 3rd - hoping Auburn responds

don't have any idea how good IU is, but we have swung the bat well to start the season.

IU isn't that good - counted as a Quad 4 team

but I do agree that we have swung well, plus I like this pitching rotation, they've been great today
