That might be enough to get him to a 4* on the composite. It’ll be close if not

Got the composite bump. Now a 4* there

Also looks like AU might lead for 4* LB Jaiden Ausberry, per Clemente. Also noted there’s a long way to go in that recruitment

Have we discussed numbers per position yet? This is my best guess. I think we sign 28 or 29. Saving 2-3 plus any attrition for the portal next year. Below is my break down of how I think we will fill with high school players for this year.

QB – 1
RB – 2
OL – 6/7
TE – 1
WR – 3

DL – 4
Edge – 2
LB – 3
CB – 2
S – 3

I'm just now really starting to dig into information and I know there is a summary but this would be my prediction for most of the class if signing day were today.

QB – 1 Brock Glenn
RB – 2 Jeremiah Cobb, ?
OL – 6/7 OT’s Staton Ramil, Ian Geffrad, Bo Hughley, IOL’s Bradyn Joiner, Clay Wedin, RyQueze McElderry (I expect one other inside/outside guy to pop)
TE – 1 Need to expand the net or someone unknown to come on the scene
WR – 3 Karmello English, Khai Prean, Nakai Poole

DL – 4 Hunter Osbourne, Joshua Horton, (got a feeling we land one of the instate Parker, Collins, or Smith)
Edge – 2 Keldric Faulk, (I hope Russaw)
LB – 3 Dee Crayton, CJ Allen, Jaiden Ausberry
CB – 2 no clue yet
S – 3 Terrance Love, ?

Although we’re at 79 scholarships, I think one thing that made coaches a little more comfortable being short of 85 is that the senior class is currently at 16. So that plus the 6 we have available makes 22 and then the rest is whatever amount of guys you think try pro early + transfer.

So I imagine the coaches will have 30-32 scholarships to work with? The question becomes how they divide that between transfers and high school kids.

Not sure what the breakdown will be just yet but definitely need 2 RBs and 6-7 OL. Edge is probably a spot where we go back to the portal again.

Here’s the seniors:

Senior: 16
Offense: Jackson*, Shenker*, Brahms*, Jackson*, Council*, Troxell*, Coffey, Stutts, Zerier

(7 OL, 1 WR, 1 TE) plus you gotta figure Tank goes

Defense: Burks*, Joeseph, Hall, Leota, Pappoe, Asante

(2 Edge, 2 DT, 2 LB) Who leaves before their eligibility is up? Jayson Jones, Wooden, Simpson, Puckett, Pritchett are all candidates. The last 3 would probably need big seasons

Special Teams: Carlson*

Won’t need to replace Carlson

Yes I get what you are saying I just think this class needs to be comprised of high school players. Then add number 1's in the portal not depth guys.

Yes I think Tank, Wooden, and Pritchett probably all enter the draft. Puckett is a possibly unless he just burst on the scene this season I expect him to return.

My numbers were for high schoolers only and I agree we should be looking for an experienced Edge at the end of the season in the portal but great recruiting tool for now to tell high school kids you can basically walk in the door and be on the 2 deep next year with the only true edge returning being Brooks. Willis will get some time there this season as well but we should be selling the idea right now.

I like him. I just don't think we lead for him. I listed who I thought we would sign if today were signing day. Then speculated a little if I put in parenthetical type.

IMO I think we lead for Thurman right now. Not sure he’s in a huge hurry, though.

CB is a little weird right now. I’m not actually sure how that’s gonna work out for us just yet. Ethan Nation and JaKeem Jackson are two guys I’d love to one right now. Can Auburn truly get in it for Mitchell or Hurley?

At S — Avery Stuart and Dakaari Nelson are two I’d also like on board sooner than later.

Same. DB is definitely 2 positions we seem to be picky this cycle or just waiting for the ball to drop on some. I almost added Avery Stuart to my list but with Zac coaching the DBs I know he has others out there he's looking at then the recruitniks know about.

Same think with C. Rob. He's gonna be a stud recruiter for us going forward. Hell I think he's gonna smash it this year as well. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if he landed the Bowles kid but like I said I just don't think we lead for him at this moment.

I see no reason why we wouldn't be in play for any corners at this point. We have had many years of DB success and success on the next level even if they aren't absolute super stars.

Like I mention earlier I just forgot to respond to this question that Zac is being patient is my guess. If we start out 5-0 probably would be inside the top 15 in the polls. He could start turning up the pressure on some of the higher rated guys. Need to get them on campus for sure

So, news just posted that KN is working for On3 now. Hope he picks up the quality of his work.

Exactly. Zac needs to be hammering the fact that uat has had multiple 5* CBs lately and no first round draft picks. Meanwhile, Auburn has had 4* and 3* CBs drafted in the 1st and early 2nd rounds.

Big pickup for them. Wonder if KN stays on the Auburn beat over there.

So the same guy started rivals then sold it. Started 247 and stole everybody from Rivals. Then sold it. Now he’s started On3 and is stealing everyone?

Surely no one buys On3 right?

Hunter Osborne previewed his visit with Clemente. Really sounds like Harsin and Brumbaugh are close to the family of this kid. He’s impressed by that and he likes Brumbaugh a lot.

Another QB to add to the mix in 2024 is 4* Kamari McClellan. He earned an offer last summer at a camp and he returns next week
