Love is still committed. Just the excitement of that commitment needs to be replaced by another solid commit. Unless you’re referring to us not making the top 4 for the other kid

I think he’s talking about Umarov.

May and especially June are big recruiting months for us. Hopefully we can pick up some momentum

Yeah I was talking about Umarov. I'm surprised we didn't at least make the final group.

Me too. I think he might be going to Michigan State

Our OL board is in good shape but the lower end is starting to fall out. Vysen Lang might be leaning toward Arkansas. I think Stroh could pick Texas. Auburn and Friend will need to hit on some of the guys higher on their board. Not in bad shape yet by any means but our margin for error is shrinking

It sounds familiar and may end up in the same place but this cycle is different than the last few. We’re losing out on 3* OTs (Vysen, Umarov, Stroh) and we’re still in the top schools for the 4* guys. FWIW, we haven’t actually been eliminated from Stroh or Vysen. These are just my guesses. Umarov is the first OL we’ve recruited in ‘23 that I can remember that’s eliminated Auburn

Last cycles have surfaced few targets that we quickly were out of reach of. The joke isn’t lost on me. But the bottom tier is falling out for once while the middle and upper tier is intact. That hasn’t happened in a long time. Doesn’t guarantee anything but it’s at least different

JGT says transfer WR Dazalin Worsham originally from Hewitt has talked to our coaches at least twice and may be interested in Auburn. Our coaches seem interested and reviewing his grades and stuff.

He’s never caught a pass in his 2 years at Miami?

Dazalin is trouble no thanks and was overrated in high school. He could burn some high school corners but wasn’t a good route runner or pass catcher.

This was with Var Johnson on the other side.

No thanks from me.

Gonna defer to Corch on all matters from that high school. Him and bigBen’s have had a decent read on those guys.

I liked Dazalin out of high school. He briefly flirted with Auburn but it didn’t seem like a match then and he wound up in Miami. We’re pretty thin so I’d guess our coaches are doing due diligence there

I text my son and his reply was no thanks lol. So there you have it from a huge Auburn fan and classmate of his.

Second response was 1 word… lazy

Speaking of HT and not sure where to even post it but Mauldin’s son is committed to transfer from Snead to AU after this year to play baseball.

Henderson will be a steal for anyone that gets him. Sky is the limit. Wynn will probably max out at a high 3 possibly low 4 but very smart. Also plays AAU basketball. His mom works 3 jobs so hope they best for him. His brother plays small college basketball somewhere but can’t remember where.

I hate Corch as much as anyone, but who the frick would downvote this post, and why? We has Trolls?

Mom working 3 fricking jobs. That's real shite right there. I'd take most any kid whose Mom worked 3 jobs because if they haven't gotten it figured out yet, they will very soon, and those are the guys who are going to be in the weight room and doing everything they can to make their Mothers proud, and to thank them, and start repaying that debt. Like, "FOR CHARLIE!' A team of guys like that can and will beat bama's arse on a regular basis. Heart. War Eagle.

Dude is kicking my arse at longish term planning. BTW, Come visit Japan while the JPY is at 20 year lows!!!!!! I have offered several times. I am an hour and a bit west of Tokyo in my paradise in a rather large house with plenty of rooms, a deck (not going there), ping pong table. 2 close by establishments staffed by a small number of Thai women and from what I have seen here and there on various boards as far as cost performance and customer satisfaction, I could imagine a great win-win between customer and said establishment. Come and support our local economy at...LITERALLY 20 year JPY lows. Fire sale and it will not last forever.

Hot springs, history, food, mountains, trout or sea fishing, surfing, and there are women here. That deserves and needs it's own pinned thread. LOL and War Eagle.

LANIER? LANIER? LANIER? NOW. YES? IT IS TIME. BRING IT. I will save my very last bud for you, and...that is saying more than a lot. War Damn.

ETA - the Thai friends are great especially in a pinch or when you just want all you can handle guilt free Thai for half an hour. But there are many other options. If only you knew someone who could....

Come to Japan family while you can. No shite.

Have I missed anything but the transfer portal sucked for us this year. Any one that will play this coming year has to be enrolled now, correct?
