I had not seen that Wes was also missing time from the team, which made it seem odd if they were dealing with family issues.

Pearl tore his meniscus this summer and to have surgery (I imagine scoped) because it has been getting worse. He will be out a few days and won’t be 100% for a while.

Why would that not surprise you? Flan has shown no issues with discipline in his 4 years at AU.

....?? In three years he has been visibly upset only a couple of times. And it was always frustration with himself last year in his struggles returning from injury.

Agreed. Flan is getting a lot of Bo Nix treatment. He won't be the best player we've ever had but you can't say he doesn't play hard and represent the university well.
