Let’s keep it going another weekend! Both of Houston’s injured players will play. Gonna be a battle.

This right here. We have hung with a lot of really good SEC teams and led the majority of 85 minutes against arguably the best team in the country. The tournament benefits us because of the way it’s called. We are an overly aggressive defense that was penalized in the SEC because of the awful whistle happy refs. We got a way with a lot more against Iowa and it really benefited our defense. Ultimately though we will have to hit shots, to win this game though. That and rebounding will decide the game. Definitely possible, but not necessarily a strength of this team.

Amen to that!

We have been severely under rated all year because of all the ref shenanigans that has made our record look a lot worse than it actually is. I feel like we should be a 25 win team at this point.

On the flip side, Houston has been a tad over rated all season with their weak schedule. When they finally came across teams with a pulse, Bama and Memphis, they got whipped!

There’s a ton of value on us today taking the points.

I’m loading the boat

Houston is the kind of team that gives us trouble… but sassers injury gives us a chance.

I still think their physical style is a bad matchup for us (just like Iowas style of play was good for us). Will be interesting to see how the game is called… need to keep Broome out of foul trouble.

Yeah we are gonna have to make open 3’s today. The good news is we have been doing that for a few weeks now. How can we keep them from destroying us on the boards?

We need to get up in their space. Make them run. Make them push to 100%

Of those left we may be the worst of all not named Pitt but I wouldn’t be shocked if we continued to make noise

Agreed although I’ve watched Xavier’s last two games and don’t think they are very good.

Other leagues just aren’t quite ready for tough, physical SEC defense which is why the SEC has started so strong.

Tenn just held Duke to 21 first half points

The ACC is all about offensive efficiency, and that's whats hurting Duke

UT's D is ferocious. That's Duke's biggest problem, IMO. Duke is having issues getting the ball in. Impressive by UT so far.
