Lol. I went to AU for 5 BB seasons and I might have went to 1 game in that time. Still a bigger AU fan than you.

Nothing more than interesting because he plays in the SEC but Myles Stute will hit the portal and skip the NIT tourney. Wonder why he's leaving Vandy, he seemed to be a contributor for Stackhouse.

On another note, it seems like 80% of the portal transfers are contacted by Arky and this is even before the top program players have announced. I remember thinking that even in freshman recruiting, they seemed to offer every kid they could.

Iowa averages 80 pts a game, has a 6-8 forward averaging 20 points per game. Gonna be a tough matchup and the effort we gave vs Arky will get is killed.

While this is true, you have to look at the other side of this in order to determine why Iowa is only an 8 seed and very beatable.

Iowa is one of the worst defensive teams in the country. #167 ranked defense on Kenpom is one of the worst in the tournament. Other teams in the tournament ranked similarly low on defense are Missouri, who we scored 89 against, and Colgate who we scored 93 against. Iowa is dead last in the Big Ten in nearly every defensive category (ppg, FG %, 3P %), and give up on average 74.5 PPG, which is 3.5 points worse than Minnesota who only won 9 games. They also lost by 20 points and gave up 80 to a Northwestern team we beat only averaging 67 PPG.

And while they do have some length at the guard positions, they don't play a true center. Broome and Cardwell will be the biggest players on the court whenever they are out there. I think if we lock down on defense and hold them in the 70's this a game we can definitely win.

Just saw 2 tickets for sale on Seat Geek for "128 each". Moved to purchasing stage. 95 bucks in fees. What a joke.

Flanigan said in press conference yesterday that he and BP have discussed him getting a chance in the next late game situation.

But I don't think anyone genuinely thinks AU is going to the final 4

yeah, lets keep feeding Green the 3,2,1 shots.

I'd rather have Flan taking the shot than Green. Hell, Flan or Williams. Personally, i think Williams is the best shooter out of the three

He is but he can’t really create his own shot at end of game situation. Heck we gave him one @ UT and he passed it right back to Green

8 out of 10 teams we play have no matchup for him at the 4. I don’t know what it will take for Jaylin to,figure it out. It seems like he just disappears out there at times.

Anybody read the article on Westry on Al.com? I found it by checking out a quick q&a Chance did with Ferguson and Ferguson retweeting a "redshirt year" from Westry that had a link to the article. Sounds positive about his rehab and coming back next year (he's put some muscle on in recovery too). Makes you realize how tough it's been for him on the sidelines. I wish the young man well and really hope he shows out next season, he's an easy guy to cheer for.

Last we heard (from a similar Al.com) article was that Auburn faces an uphill battle to play enough games to qualify Westry for a redshirt.
