I’d throw away the dual threat tag if I could. Essentially we want to know if they can run and if they’ll actually be called design runs in college and the first portion is subjective and the second portion is a guess
All this plus 247 in particular has a very lenient definition of a dual threat QB.

Yup. Likely the Juco route to finish out the CB class.

Not without his brother. Also sounds like the staff wants a guy that can come in and potentially be a impact player right off the bat. With Pouncey being out the full year right now and not having surgery yet you would think there’s concern on him being an impact player right off the bat which is what we’ll need from a CB next year.

Do we really need that? We got Noah, Roger, and Tutt all coming back plus some young guys like Sheffield, Puckett, Simpson (not sure they're all corners) and we already have 1 JUCO corner committed.

Info may have changed but last I saw the staff expects Iggy to go pro. Also the staff is looking to bring in 2 Juco corners expecting them to win two of the top three corner spots for next year.

Do other schools have as many guys make bad decisions as we seem to?

Expects Iggy to go pro? LMMFAO. Who in their right mind would advise this kid to do this? This guy can't cover anyone in man without raping them! He's an athletic freak, but not a polished CB ready for pro ball by ANY means! WOW

Sometimes that's a lot in terms of draft potential & stock.

Well AU message boards have been getting our CB's pro potential wrong since Jerraud Powers. Ha!

Neiko Thorpe is still in the NFL and none of us would have bet money on that. FYI Neiko is almost 30 years old now!!!

Every time I hear his name mentioned on a broadcast it blows my mind that he is STILL in the league. Good for him but man he really struggled here.

The season isn't over. He has good tape from LSU and if he could replicate that performance against the bama guys I bet he'll be projected mid-late round pick. Then it becomes about his personal situation.

Bigbens knows his family. From the bits and pieces I’ve heard, I doubt his family are desperate for money. Our team cannot afford another departure in the secondary. Already have Dinson, Thomas, and Javaris leaving.

I agree he shouldn't go, but when you catch a draft evaluation that says "you will get drafted but should stay" it puts a player in a position where they must evaluate what is best. As we have seen they don't always choose wisely. I am hoping Brown's decision proves to be the best thing he could have done and the younger guys will learn from him.

I always thought the small injury Holland got against bama A&M in 2017 caused him to make the terrible decision to declare.

I think Noah’s ability to play on special teams as a return man or gunner boosts his value more than your average cornerback. That could be a factor

It does seem that his parents do well and someone told me he’s pursuing a pretty difficult degree. I’m sure he’ll rely on his draft grades to make the decision. Doubt he goes with a low grade as we’ve seen several others do

I think Iggy has multiple skills that will benefit him to catch on an NFL for special teams.

..But his CB skills are limited. He is stiff, doesn't play the ball(although it's possible he is being taught to play the WR).

ANd I remember games where he was being targeted and was getting burned or getting PI calls.

One thing he has going for him is that if he gets a combine invite he will test really well.

We will we fine at CB anyway imo. Tutt and McCreary come back plus all the young guys that we're already mentioned.. we still have Peters, Askew, and Leonard for depth too. Find a JUCO guy (Like George or Appiah) who can contribute day 1 and we are set.
