It was also well reported Bob Stoops was contacted and Gus was on his way out. It was well reported he took a pay cut and his contract was altered. There is so much bullshite about what people think goes on inside the football program. Gus definitely has his hands in everything, but to say that a position coach, especially an OL coach, doesn't get a say in what linemen are recruited is too far fetched for me.

This is normal right? I mean Gus as OC had to convince Chiz to offer/recruit Cam according to interviews and reports. So Gus as OC/QB coach didn't have the sole authority to recruit players for the position he coached.

Only one on that list to be leery about is Sheffield
