Agree. Owen said he liked our coaches and it's known he and T-Will have a close relationship. Trusting in t-will to get it done.

Volquest (Rivals) has a video interview w/ Pappoe....wasn't able to watch it but judging by the twitter comments it sounds like the fans don't think he flips.

Just watched and, man, I really can't see him flipping now. You can tell that dude loves T-Will like a dad.

And he should, best LB coach in the conference. And he's turned Davis into the team spokesman. I'd rather listen to Davis speak than Stidham.

Typically you are right but UT loss is what triggered the narrative that Gus might actually get fired. That threat of coaching instability is why Pappoe might not be so solid

57 is easily my favorite player on this team and the only guy who has lived up to expectations this year. Is he the best LB we've had since Dansby?

Finally watched it & feel much better. Clear he's listening but seems like it's more of a fall back option if something happens at AU with current coaching staff which lines up with what AU crooting guys have said for a while now
Thankfully he's signing early so hopefully can lock him in over next month

It amazing what twist and turns Recruiting can do to us fans. lol.
Its interesting too that it takes a real live interview to get a better perspective on a critical recruit for us, to get a better understanding, and to not take too much stock in what we hear about other schools, and a pretty solid recruit all along for us...

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but Pappoe is already a UT silent. They will announce it publicly the day after their next loss or it will be announced after the Vandy game either way. Don't get much inside info, but this is legit. Look for new offers from our staff to LBs shortly. I imagine our staff will keep this quiet as long as possible.

By "they" you mean Tennessee? They don't want Pappoe to publically flip until after a loss?

I do think this is something to watch. KN brought up Keshun Brown the other day. If some new LB offers start going out then I do think that probably might reflect what's happening with Pappoe

Hard to really take a stab at that until after a few more OV weekends
The big thing to watch this weekend is 3* RB DJ Williams taking OV to AU & 4* OG William Putnam taking OV to CLEM
I could see AU pushing hard to get Williams on board with McIntosh gone & Cain trending away. They could still go hard after MAR but at least have security having a back on board
As for Putnam, apparently CLEM is the big threat now. AU might have a slight lead right now. If they can survive this OV might land his commitment in the near future. He's honestly the biggest recruit on AU's board right now imo
