KN believes Penn State now leads for Jalen Curry. With how well AU freshmen WRs have performed plus the two current commits, staff appears to have backed off. They are still hard after Haselwood but right now he's the only other WR Auburn might be willing to sign

I like Webb, but I don’t care for the cryptic games. It’s down to pickin’time. Wipe that grin off your face and man up!

Dude is playing the least amount of games of anybody. Quietly going about his business and evaluating his options. Wish more handled it like him

Fans struggle to separate what kids are actually doing/saying versus the rumors posted by anonymous people on message boards.

Do we give us a < 1% chance to flip that kid?

Nah odds are better than that. If I had to give it a percentage would be something like 20-30%

I think he sticks with UGA but they are gonna have to show a reasonable commitment to the passing game. What would be really nice is if some drama could go down with Justin Fields & Jake Fromm at QB. Haselwood is VERY close with Fields so we need Kirby to piss him off somehow

But ya I don't think he lands at Auburn though he's gonna flirt with us all fall

May be, but webkinda need to know how our class will fill out, so we know who to push for in 2020. Not sayin I don’t like Clay, but he always has a grin on his face. No law against that. Yet.

That's two years in a row they have taken a kid that couldn't get qualified at AU

All this plus Miami is a big factor too.

I know a lot can change depending on the season but wish we'd take Curry. We have like 8 spots right now and there doesn't seem to be a ton of highly rated guys we have a great shot with left.

Don't care about the highly rated part since I care about the staff's board regardless of ratings but I wish we would take Boobie too since a spot is available. We have 8 spots left & spots reserved for a RB, 2 OL, a Buck, a DT, and 2 LBs. That leaves 1 spot for another DB or best available regardless of position. I just assume take Boobie as best available because I don't see us getting another high quality DB at this point to add to the already great secondary class.

So the guy AU was monitoring as a backup option at RB 3* Ronald Thompkins tore his other ACL this past weekend. Nebraska has already said they will honor his commitment. He tore an ACL last year & AU apparently wanted to see how he did this fall before turning the heat up. Now it looks like he's a lock to Nebraska. Tough luck for the kid but glad he was already committed somewhere

Also realized never posted summary of insider earlier this week

- KN says he switched his CB on 5* C Clay Webb to foggy because he doesn't think he's such a lock to Bama anymore (tho he could very well end up there), he's closer to Gus Malzahn than any other head coach & that he's heard a lot of UGA chatter in recent weeks. Should know his OV schedule soon. Good chance he visits for AU/UW game

- Apparently the team to watch with 4* WR George Pickens is FSU. However, AU still feels confident in keeping him in the class. He will use all 5 OVs (tho he might not use any on Bama) but KN thinks in the end he signs with the Tigers

- Ja'Varrius Johnson lived up to hype from his coaches & teammates Saturday. KN thinks there's a chance his ranking rises over the coming months

- KN says that 2020 4* QB Robby Ashwell will have to make sure doesn't get too big a head after impressive debut. Says he doesn't think that will be a problem & that kid is very humble & works hard. Expects a big year from him

- Two 2021 recruits that jumped out to KN this week were Oxford's WR Rock Taylor & Pinson Valley's Ga'Quincy McKinstry
