Very much agree. I get if you have a young RB that isn't great in pass protection, you don't put him in on big pass plays, but we basically give them 1-2 plays that they are allowed to run. By the middle of the season, it is stupid obvious what will happen when they get in the game.

Not trying to take the convo back off the rails, but this goes back to Gus’ O. Hurry up based with no substitutions. Our defense OTH rotates like a mofo allowing for youngin’s to get quality reps but also off the field in pressure situations

Right, but we are substituting, to put a guy in for pretty much one play. That is completely counterproductive to the point you are making, which I agree with. Instead of bringing in a guy for one play, bring him in for at least a series (or at least 2-3 plays depending on 1st down and stuff) and just run the offense. If third down dictates that you sub him out, do so then or call a play he can do then. Subbing a RB in on 2nd down to run the same swing pass everyone knows is coming, then sub him back out, completely ruins in hurry up you are doing.

Other than a smattering of drives Gus hasn't run the HUNH O as a HC at AU.

I'm ready for him to jump on board. Was his mom the one that didn't like our Academics presentation the first time, or was that another recruit?

I don’t think we ever really were, honestly. He may have us in a top group but he just doesn’t seem interested.

Well in that case I'm just hoping he lands anywhere other than UGA

I’d be fine with that as long as this potential CB class doesn’t fall apart

Yeah assuming we get who we are projected to get I don't mind Flott going to LSU. He's good, but there are a lot of good DB's this year.

Jones and Sheffield need to go for a ride in Gus car this weekend.. Time to go check Patrick Suddes twitter lol.

KN doesn't think Jones commits today but considering he just visited Mississippi State who is on a tear right now, big visit for AU to talk with him before the dead period

LSU just offered a local kid at CB. Flott better be careful because spots ain't at a premium at either school right now

247 LSU Shea Dixon CB'd Flott to flip. Guess LSU has space

I feel like the Flott news might be a good sign on the Booth front. May be wishful thinking .

I doubt it since LSU just got a commit from Derek Stingley. I think we just have a lot of options at DB right now and because of that he isn't a huge priority.
